The Fan Development Department seeks an intern for the 2017-18 season.

 

 

 

Office Responsibilities:

  • Assist with planning and execution of outreach activities and special events (Street Team Events, School Assemblies, Plaza Parties, etc.).
  • Attend and assist in coordinating community appearances (hospitals, school/library visits, etc.).
  • Assist with event and program mailings, and respond to requests for information.
  • Assist with communication to youth hockey parents and youth hockey associations.
  • Draft emails and newsletters containing updates about youth hockey.
  • Execute youth hockey in-game experiences.

 

Hours/Time:

  • Requires availability to work normal business hours during the season. In addition, you may be asked to work some weeknights and weekends.
  • Flexible; 15-20 hours per week
  • September - June

 

Requirements:

  • College junior or senior.
  • General knowledge and interest in non-profit, community outreach and special events preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.  Must be proficient in Excel.
  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.
  • General office/administrative experience.
  • Organization and attention to detail is a must.
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks and take initiative.
  • High ethical standards and a strong sense of confidentially.
