SUMMARY

The Marketing Manager at Pegula Sports and Entertainment will manage development and execution of strategic marketing plans related to several PSE properties including My One Buffalo, HarborCenter, and any needs with MSG Western New York. In addition, this position will be tasked with evaluating emerging fan engagement trends and making recommendations in how PSE can leverage technology to connect with fans of the Buffalo Bills, Buffalo Sabres, Buffalo Bandits, and Rochester Americans.

RESPONSIBILITIES

•         Develop strategic marketing plans for the My One Buffalo mobile fan engagement platform with a particular focus on leveraging the app to benefit the Bills and Sabres

•         Create, maintain, and ensure delivery of a year-round rewards calendar tied to My One Buffalo

•         Continue to develop and evolve the My One Buffalo brand to educate fans on the benefits of the app and maintain relevance among existing users

•         Oversee the management of the My One Buffalo Street Team and Buff-a-Nerds tech support teams to ensure positive fan interaction at events

•         Assess fan feedback and make recommendations for features to include in future iterations of the My One Buffalo app

•         Ensure all backend content requirements for the My One Buffalo app are being fulfilled

•         Seek out new opportunities for fan engagement through technology or other means that are relevant to PSE properties

•         Make recommendations to the Director of Marketing and EVP Marketing Brand Strategy at PSE on relevant fan engagement trends

•         Develop strategic marketing plans for Impact Sport Performance, Academy of Hockey, and The Rinks at HarborCenter taking into account feedback from key stakeholders at each property

•         Manage the promotion and relationship with MSG Western New York to promote original programming and special event broadcasts

•         Develop strategic marketing plans and contribute to the promotion of special events awarded to Buffalo in which PSE has a role

EXPECTATIONS

•     Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or a related field

•     3-5 years experience working in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field

•     Background in Sports Marketing or Sports Business preferred

•     Previous experience in fan/consumer engagement role a plus

•     Excellent people skills, with an ability to interact effectively with internal and external clients at all levels

•     Excellent verbal and written communication skills

•     Strong computer skills
