Position Summary

The Corporate Partnerships Activation Internship is an unpaid position for the Spring 2018 semester.  The Corporate Partnerships Activation Intern will have the primary responsibility of assisting with the coordination of sponsor activations.  This position will report to the Senior Manager, Corporate Activation and work closely with the Marketing department throughout the execution process for each activation.

Major Responsibilities/Activities

  • Assist with preparation & execution of activations
  • Assist with day to day functions associated with activations
  • Collect, manage, & input materials, photos, data, & files relevant to activations
  • Produce recaps that include a detailed summary of activations including documentation of signage, radio, &/or TV spots, promotional activities & results, VIP events, tickets, program ads, etc.
  • Manage communications across the organization by creating excitement around activations
  • Research & create activation ideas; monitor what other sports are employing


  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook)
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Needs to be friendly, energetic and have the ability to interact effectively with all types of people
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
  • Must be highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently & self-motivate

Requirements/Physical Functions

  • There are physical requirements to this position including sitting, walking, standing, bending, climbing, kneeling, twisting, lifting, grasping, etc.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs with or without assistance
  • Flexible schedule – must be able to work most home games, nights, weekends, & holidays
  • Should be able to work a minimum of 30+ hours per week, non-traditional hours, non-traditional settings
  • Currently pursuing undergraduate or graduate degree; must receive academic credit
  • Candidates must have a car, valid driver's license and valid auto insurance

Nashville Predators Internship Requirements:

  • All interns must be students at accredited colleges and universities
  • The internship must be a part of the student’s curriculum
  • The internship must provide earned hours that are directly applied to the student’s degree
  • Full time Interns must work a minimum of 32 hours per week, per semester
  • During the hockey season interns must be available to work game nights
  • Working arena events is not required, but it is encouraged
  • Interns must be high-energy, detail-oriented, team players
  • Internships do not provide compensation or housing
  • Internships do not guarantee full-time positions with the Predators upon completion
